Advertiser disclosure: some offers on this site pay us a commission. It never changes our rankings. How we make money

Editorial policy

Standards for a YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) comparison site that leads with data freshness.

What we cover

US personal finance products: credit cards, bank bonuses, savings and deposit rates, loans, and related education. We do not provide personalized financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice.

Sources

Numbers on rates and benchmarks prefer primary sources: issuer terms pages, FRED, Freddie Mac PMMS, FDIC, and similar official datasets. Secondary press is used for context, not as the final authority on a rate or fee.

Verification dates

Every material rate or offer shows when we last checked it. A site rebuild without a data change does not bump verification dates. Automated pipelines may update JSON data files; editorial copy is reviewed when product structure changes.

Corrections

If we publish an error, we correct it in place and update the page's updated date. Material mistakes that could have led a reader to act will get a short note near the top of the page.

Conflicts of interest

Affiliate compensation is disclosed on every page via the top bar and the advertiser disclosure page. Writers and automated agents follow the same rule: never invent a number, never strip a verification date, never claim licensed advice.

AI-assisted production

We use automated tools (including large language models) to draft, improve, and compliance-check pages. Humans own the product direction, affiliate relationships, and launch decisions. Compliance gates block publish when required disclosures or verification rules fail.
